For areas of improvement,I'd like to see less fights at the school and less school threats circulating. What I like most is being in the arts programs. The quality of the choir program and the auditorium is excellent. The teachers are great. The school shares information about scholarships very effectively with students. My counselor was very helpful. Their dual and concurrent enrollment program is incredibly beneficial to students.

The best part of my experience has been meeting all of my friends there, and being able to take part in the nursing 2 program to get my CNA certification upon graduation! I'd say the worst has been having to deal with academic stresses and going to school while having anxiety, apart from that it's been great!

Gila Ridge has been an overall ok experience. If you are looking for a school involved in the arts Gila Ridge is not the school you want to go to. They lack in their Fine Arts funding and advertisement. The teachers are ok and my experience with them has been good enough for me to pass. The atmosphere can be a bit intimidating and uncomfortable if you are not like how the majority students want you to be, but if you find the right group you will definitely feel comfortable.

My son transferred to Gila Ridge High School from another local school his junior year and had incredible success! I only wish we had started him at GR his freshman year. His teachers were above average, and he easily made friends. He was able to participate in dual enrollment at GR and AWC his seni...

I was thoroughly disappointed as I watched two of my children attend this school. I'm a VErY involved parent, so I volunteer and remain nearby to be easily accessible if the need arises. The counselors seemed to not care on sharing information (SAT/ACT dates, Scholar, Dual Enr avail,), so DO YOUR OW...
