My son went to this school from K to 2nd. My son had already completed K when we lived in paradise valley but they made him re take k and that made him behind 1 grade. When he went to 1st and 2nd it was getting worse. The school doesn't care about bullying and the school has no respect for the children. Staff members will call your child racist and will yell shut up. Parents are not allowed to visit the classroom or go any further than the admin office. Just horrible. When I wanted to withdraw my son, they gave us a hard time.

I like the teachers they are really nice and they really care for your kids. Just the office staff can be rude and have attitude

During my time at Desert Star, there are a few teachers that I will never forget. These teachers never gave up on me and always went the extra mile to help me succeed.

I have had 4 children attend Desert Star over the past 10 years and have always been pleased with the school's expectations of my kids. Desert School is a wonderful school. My son is excited to go to school each day. I'm very impressed with his progress. All of the teachers and staff are caring and concerned about all students.
