I was behind when I started at Valley View in 5th grade I was a transfer student from St. Mary's of the Angels where I was far behind academically in all areas. Miss Torberg recognized my need for extra help and started tutoring me for one hour every day after school. For the first time my report card was straight C's. But by the time I graduated I was an Honor roll student. Without her assistance I'm sure I would have had to repeat 5th grade. I am now a Nurse with a degrees in Marketing and graphic Design. Served 20 years in US Army as a Nurse. I owe it all to Miss Torberg and Valley View Elementary.
