Truly educate the whole boy. Teachers are not only the best at what they do, but also care deeply about turning boys into young men who are ready for the world. Truly one of the best experiences of my life.

Good in Lower School. After that, unimpressive. Kids of character and smart kids are regularly overlooked. Athletes in 2 or 3 sports are favored. School's priorities are way off. Some good teachers, but too many who have no clue and haven't learned anything in a long time.

I've been going to Brunswick since Kindergarten and it's opened me up to so many opportunities that I would have never acquired had I went to my local public school. The facilities are amazing and the community as a whole is strongly connected whether you are still apart of the school or you're an alumni. The difficulty of the curriculum gives me a comfortable feeling about entering a high level university and being able to succeed.

When my family moved to Greenwich, my dad insisted that I go to Brunswick, assuming that the best private school in town must be the best in the area. We didn't realize that Greenwich Public Schools were as good--if not better--than Brunswick in almost every respect. After my Sophomore year, I chose...

Teaching here is a real problem. My son wound up in summer school twice because the teaching on the high school level wasn't good enough. Lots of amateurs teaching here.

My son is a middle schooler, he absolutely loves it. His academic work load is a multiple of what he had in the public school last year. He is now exceptionally challenged, really enjoys being with other bright and kind and respectful boys. Yes this is middle school where kids are usually at their m...

If I had to pick a word to describe the Brunswick experience, it is 'shallow.' Everything about the place seems to be okay: people are pleasant, the place is nice-looking, and everyone seems to possess a minimum level of competence and manners. But, in reality, the school is an attempt to assess whe...
