The Parcells Middle School serves fifth through eighth graders in the city of Grosse Pointe Woods as part of the Grosse Pointe Public Schools system. Students attending Parcells Middle School are directed to develop respect for one another and their teachers, a sense of personal responsibility, self-discipline, integrity and a commitment to reaching their "personal best."
Students engage in courses covering Spanish, literature, social studies, writing, math, computers, technology, science, physical education and life skills and should expect to devote at least one hour to homework each evening. Students can opt to visit Parcells Middle School's Homework Station Monday through Thursday and use school textbooks, calculators and printers to complete assignments after school.
Athletic programs at Parcells Middle School include girls and boys' basketball, girls' volleyball, co-ed swimming, wrestling, cross country and track. The Panthers compete swiftly flying their black and gold colors at school games.
Parcells Middle School provides students with many extracurricular opportunities and clubs for enrichment that include the Drama Club, Chess, Cheerleading, Yearbook, Math Club, Student Council, the Green Team, Lego Club and the National Junior Honor Society.
