The small class sizes are nice and allow for a more personal learning experience. Some of the teachers are not the best at getting concepts through to students and need to work on not belittling the students. Other teachers do a fantastic job with the students though. The school itself is not in the best of condition and needs a fair amount of work to be done.

What I liked most about going to Groton Area is the relationships I developed with my teachers. They are truly amazing and enthusiastic about their roles. I feel that has reflected off onto me to find a career I am passionate about. As with all schools there is room for improvement. Our school sets goals every year and usually is successful in achieving them.

Students often form small groups of people who they most identify with, often sorted by popularity. I am not so popular, so I often identify with a less popular crowd. groups are also sorted somewhat by class, with the seniors grouping up first with seniors and juniors with juniors and so on.
