The school is overall okay but I would not recommend it for any high schoolers wanting actual resources when it comes to learning and academics. The most they have to offer is Honors classes and we have like 2 AP classes period. The rest is pre-AP and honors which isn't as good looking on an actual application as AP or even dual-enrollment classes. The best is most probably that they do have some kind of resources for students wanting to go into the medical field (we have a CNA class and a health class category). We also have a college prep class called AVID.

Hallettsville High School is a phenomenal school. The teachers really care and want the best for their students. Their goal is to watch us grow and help with whatever we need. My favorite thing about this school is being able to have a relationship with my teachers. I can ask them about their weekend and they can ask me about mine. If I need to talk or just rant, I always have someone who's ear I can bend. I have never had more caring teachers who care about our success and push us to be the best version of ourselves.

Hallettsville highschool is a small town school where everybody knows everybody in the school and that it something I like. The teachers are more one on one with you rather than not paying attention to you at all. I would like the dress code rules to change and have them become more strict on bullying rules. Overall Hallettsville is just like most other highschools and I am proud to go there.
