Overall this school is great compared to what I've heard from other schools in less rural areas. I'm happy to go here and happy with just about everything other than the food at lunch.

The overall experience at school is pretty good. Most of the admin and teachers do their best to help at all times. Sports are adored and the main focus of extracurriculars. The arts are less focused on and supported. I do wish they were more prepared when it comes to scheduling classes and appointments. They always feel last minute or unprepared when the wait to the last second to send out schedules then have to deal with hundreds of students that need to make a schedule change.

6th year with a child at HCHS, we are not happy at all! Other previous statements below mentioned that the teachers take complaints made about them out on your student! That is a FACT, it happens!! Harris County High has been great for my son. This is his first year of high school (9th grade) as well as this is a new school for him. He loves it and so do we.
