My overall experience at Hamtramck Highschool has been good. Despite not having a lot of opportunities and not having many resources the school provides enough help from teachers for me to succeed.

I want to see the school improve and not kick students out after school ends just because it's a half day or meeting or security guards have to leave. The school would be a much safer place to stay in rather than staying outside the school.

During my senior year, the school was a mess. We didn't have a principal for months, many of our teachers left. Most importantly we couldn't do a lot of things because we didn't have enough funds. I want to see changes regarding funds, so the students can plan events without worrying about it.

You won’t find students or families more serious about education anywhere else. One visit and it will be evident.

What good does a diverse high school do when you're attending school and not learning, being prepared for col...

Everyone is welcome here and typically no one is ever looked down for their differences. People fit in, one way or the other. As for teachers and staff, they do their jobs to...
