I love Harlan High. I'm a rising senior and do not regret my choice. I love the bond between administration and students and how involved the students are with activities. Since we are a small school, students are involved in more than one activity and the teachers make sure to balance our school work in accordance to our busy schedules. The work is tough but when it comes time to take the ACT or apply for colleges or scholarships they really prepare us to be ready for whatever.

The school has provided a good education for me; however, funding is a problem so they can not offer as many advanced placement (AP) classes as I would like to take.

My school offers a variety of after school activities ranging from academic clubs to drama club. There is an activity for anyone interested, all under control and support of teachers and various staff. All programs are made possible for anyone who wishes to participate. If a club fee cant be paid, arrangements are made so that everyone has equal opportunities.
