Very strong english, history, and arts department, however the math department is pretty bad for the exception of a few teachers. Science department is mediocre because of the balance of the very bad teachers and good teachers.

I love being a student in Hastings. It's a great environment to learn in. I believe that it will prepare me well for college.

We are two years in and find the math and science weak.m. The district dropped the Geometry, Chemistry and Algebra II regents that other Rivertowns schools offer.
