The best part of my experience in Hayesville is the close community and how everyone looks out for each other. The worst part is that there's not much to do for teens or young adults, especially on weekends. I'd like to see more local events, shops, or places to hang out that bring people together.

Great teachers with many opportunities for a school their size. However, as of 2023, only one AP class is offered in person, AP Computer Science

It is a wonderful school, we just need more resources. I have gone to Hayesville for my whole life and it is a wonder place to go to school.

Academics and sports play a big part of the life on campus at this wonderful place. Students are valued and engaged in meaningful learning. It is a great, hometown environment with a old fashioned feel.

This is a very small school with mostly excellent teachers. The biggest problem with this school is they put athletics above EVERYTHING! Sports are good but they have a tendency to put athletic students above everyone else. It seems to be all about winning.
