Good out does the little bit of bad. Has taught me what I need to know. Sometimes it can be rough, but overall a great school!

I was a newcomer to Jeff Davis County. I moved here at the beginning of my Freshman year in High School. I was of course nervous and anxious because I did not know how the people or the atmosphere would be like for me since I am " Fresh Meat" or the " Newbie" to the school. However, I am now a Senior this year and I can say that JDHS, is a school that is all around a great atmosphere and my worries faded away. Staff were nice, teachers actually taught, and students learned.

Not a great school due to bias over people of color and very deceitful factual staff.

This is an excellent school that is totally focused on student success. This school goes beyond the basic classroom to help all students, even outside of school. It is a community.
