This is probably the best alternative school in the state. Students leave their home school with failing grades and go to Western Vance High School and excel. Their Algebra 1 test scores are higher than the traditional high schools in Vance County.

IStudents come to this school with failing grades and many students excel after they get to Western Vance. The students at Western Vance scored higher on the Algebra 1 EOG test than the Students at the traditional High schools
