I love Hickory High. It's the high school that I've been going to for the past two years, this up upcoming year I will be a junior. I enjoy the diversity of people there is, to me it feels that every is connected or at least understood in a certain way. I participate in many activities, my main ones are marching band and literary club, battle of the books as well, it has been an amazing experience for me and I wish to enjoy my last two years that I have of high school left before going to college.

My favorite part of Hickory High is 100% the athletics, as a student athlete I really felt engaged whilst playing sports and found myself building a family and special with my teammates and coaches that I don't think I would've found anywhere else. The worst part is probably the administration, yeah they are pretty laid back and chill to help the student feel comfortable but they definitely don't handle problems completely how there supposed to and that leads to a lot of conflicts breaking out. Something I wanna see changed is the layout of the school the school is great it just feels bland like copy and paste in every hallway it just needs some things to make it pop.

Hickory high school is an very diverse school that both my mother and father had attended in previous years its been an overall great experience in high school fillied with very interesting events and people.

The administration does not care about its students unless they are basketball or football players or unless the have money. I was bullied non stop and they would listen and when they finally did and expelled the kid but the moment they found out I was gonna transfer they quickly decided to let him...

Excellent teachers will only be found in the honors classes - the new principal seems to only be after his "personal" agenda. The students never see him at school.
