High Point Central overall was a great school that offered many classes and tracks. Personally I was a pretty safe environment but there were fights occasionally. The school is had diversity within the student body and the staff but it doesn't mean they are unified. Everyone is in there own group so it's hard to make friends without compromising yourself.

I had some amazing teachers. Some classes were really great and set me up for success. I made some great friends and feel fairly satisfied with my high school experience.

Just about every teacher is great you can see the passion they have for their job and how determined they are to helping their students grow. Sadly most AP and IB teachers have left the school and is now making hard for those students who want to get ahead and be prepared for college.

Please, please walk around the campus including both sides of Ferndale Blvd. There are papers and trash everywhere.....especially in the yards across the street.

Teachers say one thing concerning a policy but then when you go to the office its something different. Everyone need to be on the same page. Too much confusion and a waste of parent time and energy when they flip flop on a so called school rule.
