My child has been going to Highland Elementary since Kindergarten, and is now in 3rd grade there. The teacher's and the rest of the school staff that my child and / or myself have had to work with ...all have been wonderful. I just wish there were more after school activities for children that are not as athletic as most kids are. More things that have to do with art, building / creating. Yoga for kids, martial arts of sort were all kids of all abilities can benefit from. Also... something like girls on the run.....that isn't restricted to just females being able to join.. so that all kids that might not be good at a sport, but like to run can join. All kids should be able to feel good about themselves! Other than that ..Highland Elementary is an Excellent school!!!!

My child said the lunches are terrible complained to other schools. We attend the musicals and they're so terrible. The school puts all its money into filming the musical and when we went over to her friends house to watch it (because my daughter was sick) and the quality was so terrible on the DVD....

Incredibly helpful to students with learning disabilities.

The teachers and the staff were very quick to tell me that all my child's problems were my fault, but never even considered what was right in front of their eyes: my daughter has a learning disability that I discovered after they told me what a horrible parent I was.
