Overall i've had a good experience at highland high school but that's not the case for a lot of my classmates. There is an issues with bullying that will not be addressed and that staff clearly has favorites.

Highland is a very small community so there is not much that goes on but everyone knows each other which creates strong bonds within the community. I don't think that i would change anything about highland except for increased diversity but other than that i think highland is a quiet and great place to live.

Typical small town high school. Offers a ton of college credit classes through the SUNY New Paltz and SUNY Ulster Collegian Program. It is possible to attain an associates degree through this program when graduating as a senior.

The only way to have a decent high school experience here is to fit in with the highland clique. I have taken college level courses here where teachers spend the majority of the period gossiping and making plans for the weekend with their favorite students. If teachers and staff like you, your grade...
