nda is meh im leaving the etachers are meh the sports are good but lowk everyone is kinda mean or to themselves. nda produces a lot of bullies and girls who just hate eachother and are mean to eachother

The student culture can be very supportive and close knit but the emphasis on grades and competitiveness between students often got in the way of the so called "sisterhood". I know a girl who broke into the guidance office because she wanted to see who would receive the Harvard book award junior year, and when she saw it wasn't her she had a tantrum. Overall, I've had a positive experience, but it was difficult to find my people.

I'm a 2013 grad and just went to my 10th reunion. NDA prepared me well and gave me an excellent foundation for college and beyond. It taught me to strive for excellence in academics and my work. NDA's global education and teachers taught me to think critically, to ask questions, and think out of the box. Most important NDA taught me the importance of using my talents to be a good person - making a positive difference in the world.

The school is overpriced at 20k per year. The academics are average at best. The Math Dept is very challenged with teachers who don't teach. The Guidance Dept is very poor. They do nothing to help students reach their college potential. The administration is new but so far is not better than the pre...

Very disappointed in Guidance Department. Why pay $18K a year when you could have a better partnership with your public school? The academics are okay and extracurricular activities plentiful . . . but my daughter had peer issues that the school just would not address. As an unhappy child often mean...
