Instilling every child with a sense of leadership, goodness and civic responsibility is one of the most important lessons at Hoboken Catholic Academy. HCA is a private school serving students in prekindergarten to eighth grade, accredited by the Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools. The school has also been named a 2017 National Blue Ribbon School.
Through partnerships with the Campus Ministry, Student Council and the National Junior Honor Society, students get involved in numerous community service projects collecting food, toys and clothing for local food pantries, homeless shelters and hospitals. The school's music program is impressive, with the large choir being rated as superior through the I Sing Competition. They've even performed at Newark's Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
The school is a strong proponent of broadening the entire child and provides before and aftercare, an extensive list of after-school activities and a competitive athletic program.
HCA graduates, overall, are well prepared for the next chapter in life and go on to some of the best Catholic and public high schools.

Academically, our children are doing great at HCA. They enjoy going to school everyday and their teachers are keeping them highly engaged. As parents, we are able to keep a tab on what they are working on and get regular updates about how they are testing on various subjects. I feel they will be ready for any high school program after graduating from here.

The institutional hypocrisy and deceitful operation literally break my heart on a regular basis. I live a block away and work full time so I have no choice but to stay even though a surprising # of people that work at HCA are heartless and strangely harsh and I am not sure why. Many nice staff quit...
