It was ok, doesn't have AP classes, which can leave you unprepared for college. It does have some college prep classes, but they don't count for college credits.

It is a good school. I enjoyed my time here. You have teachers who take the time to get to know you and will invest in you.

I loved being in choir for the three years I went to Holden. The school was absolutely terrible in many ways though. Everyone already had their cliques when I moved there so I never had much of a chance to fit in. I got made fun of on the daily by a group of guys who would smack me around. I never felt safe with all the drugs and bullying around me. The school had mold on the roof tiles and leaks constantly. If I could go back in time I would never choose to go to this school.

There are obviously some very good things about this school, but there is SO much room for improvement. I’m rather disappointed in this school compared to my own education over 20 years ago.

I've been involved with 5 different schools over time, and I'm so glad my kids go here. It is top notch, and they have very high standards. Sometimes there are some people who complain about this school's rigor, but to me, high standards are much more important than simply passing every student alon...
