Established in 1968, Kashmere High School serves high school students from both Trinity-Houston and Kashmere Gardens. This recently renovated Houston Independent School District campus offers robust educational and extracurricular programming, from the Futures Academy of Computer Engineering Technology and the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) magnet program to theater and fine arts.
All students at Kashmere High are enrolled in the STEM curriculum thanks to the school-wide magnet program. For students who’d like to take their studies to the next level, the Futures Academy of Computer Engineering Technology or Futures Academy of Graphic Design may be the perfect fit. These dual-credit programs allow students to simultaneously earn high school and college credit. Kashmere High is also a hub for the arts, offering fine arts, graphic design and theater classes as part of the school’s performing and visual arts magnet program.
For nearly a decade, Kashmere High School was on the state’s list of campuses in need of improvement. That changed in the 2018-2019 school year when Kashmere High earned a passing rating, removing the campus’ “Improvement Required” status. Today, Kashmere High's principal says they’re hard at work to “continue onward and upward.”

My overall experience with Kashmere High school was good. My teachers taught me very well, staff were ok, but the district wasn't the best

I been in Kashmere for 3 years, I first came here in 10th grade. At first it was scary because It was my first time going to a new school without friends. Overall Kashmere has been a really good school so far. My senior year is going well, not how I expected. Staff and students and nice, even though there's times that they don't help much.

It's really a good school i feel is that people don't give Kashmere a chance it's really a good school because no school is perfect and you should never just judge kashmere based off an opinion it's really a nice school sports is trying hard and pushing . The hard work is really coming together we just won our homecoming and the coaches up there don't just coach they show tough love to all of us overall it's really a good school.
