I like the education I received, especially in the Sciences. However, I dislike how both students and faculty treat students. I have been told by teachers that I will never amount to anything in life and they are very critical over dreams of students.

The teachers at Genoa Hugo High School are generally very caring about their students. If a student is sick or something is wrong with a student the teachers easily pick up in that and will ask if they can help in some way. The teachers also want the students to pass their classes and will often stay after class to assist students with the work they are struggling on. The teachers are also very friendly and easy to talk to. As a freshman they seemed like scary unfriendly people but as the years go on I realize that they aren't as mean as I used to think and our class can usually have a friendly and informative discussion with any teacher about things that concern us or just general social and life issues and the teachers value what we have to say. Our teachers also try to give us new opportunities to learn through the trips they attempt to get students to attend and often on these trips the students do walk away with new knowledge if they paid any attention on the trip.

The teachers at my high school have well teaching abilities they normally use reality world questions and have us using books that contain making checks, using fake checking accounts and all the subjects we need for the future. how to pay rent for a home and how do you know if you have enough what if today this happened from the past what would we do and why. The teachers really make us think and contain well hard work that we will need to know.
