I began my learning experience when I entered Idalou as a Kindergardener. I have attended Idalou for 14 years. My family has been at Idalou ever since my grandfather and my grandmother attended in 1964. I have participated in varsity football since sophomore year. Idalou has a winning culture over the years and has stood out in many academic events.

It's a good school. There are no computer science courses, but there are excellent math and great science courses. The teachers care about the students.

I had previously gone to a very small school so when I had to move to a bigger city, I was scared of going to a big school. Thankfully, Idalou was nearby and wasn't much bigger than my previous school. I felt instantly welcomed. The academic curriculums are taught very well, and there are numerous extracurricular opportunities.

Love love love the school in Idalou. Teachers are always willing to help a student to thrive. I always feel i can have good conversations with my child's teachers. Great principals at every campus as well.

Idalou High School. There needs to be a restructuring of teachers they need to be available and willing to help students when the students ask for help the teachers need to help instead of turning them away especially in the Pre-Calculus class.
