Since i am a freshman in high school I do not have that much bias. The school experience so far at Vandercook High School has been overall a pretty bad in aspects of the students. The teachers on the other hand are great and do what they are supposed to. That is my opinion on Vandercook Lake Hight School.

My experiences at Vandercook were pretty good. I really loved that they had a pottery class because not a lot of the schools in the district had one.

Vandercook has a very good community, but I would like to see the classes and teachers have an "upgrade". There is almost no variety in classes and only one AP class available. They do offer dual enrollment through the Jackson College, although.

Most bad reviews are from before 2024 and do not hold up on current grounds. The school is great and had good lunches, 5/5 stars.

The teachers and students are so disrespectful there. A teacher once yelled at me for accident sitting in the wrong spot and another teacher once embarrassed me in front of the whole class because I was trying to help a fellow classmate.
