The best experience at KML is homecoming week, it is by far the best time of the school year. the worst experience is having the school lunch, some of the worst food i have ever had.

My experience at Kettle was pretty so-so. I made a lot of meaningful connections to my peers and teachers. I had a lot of fun through my involvement with athletics. I do wish there were more AP opportunities and that we hd access to them earlier than Junior year. I also have experience being a member of the LGBT community as a student at KMLHS and it was not fun. It felt like every connection I made could have been torn away if I was ever outed and it struggled to allow me to feel safe/comfortable for pretty much my entire 4 years there. There were a lot of ups but if I had a choice I definitely would have chosen to go somewhere else.

I personally am enjoying my time at Kettle, I think that it is a very nice and safe environment. It feels like you always have somebody there that can help you and the teachers genuinely care about your success. There are many opportunities for students with college level courses. The one thing I would change is adding more clubs. It sometimes feels difficult to get involved, and the clubs we do have aren't talked about all that much.
