The academics offered at this school are pretty good. The scheduling process is very easy. You just have to checkmark the box of what class you want to take and the students counselor helps you put together you schedule if you are having trouble. The classes that I have taken have taught me a lot. I have learned a different language and been challenged through my pre-calculus class.

Teachers at this school are very friendly and had specific plans for what to teach for the school year. I remember specifically that my English teacher taught her topics in a specific order that she thought was most effective for us to learn the best. The teachers respect our opinions and thoughts and always took them into consideration.

This is not a friendly school if you have a disorder of any kind. this school will kick students out if they are having problems, will pick their athletes above all other students, and they make sure the teachers give athletes fake grade so they don't get kicked off of the sports team. if your child...

I used to go to this school and it was awful. They say they're a bully free zone but that's completely false. They literally barely do anything about bullying. I switched to Linton Schools and it's MUCH better. Don't go here. Go to Linton.

I went to Shakamak way back in the day & graduated from there. It was/is a good school. Both my children have went there. My youngest just finished kindergarten today & has done great! His teacher is the best. She taught both of my boys. They are very helpful. My little one learned so much this year...
