This is a small school in the middle of nowhere. Its employees are mostly local people and that's good, but I fail to see the point of having another school less than seven miles away. We pay for two sets of everything when the two schools could combine resources and provide more and better education to the students who are mostly high risk.

this school was good for me to learn at but when i graduated and went to work in the kitchen in Jefferson Central School i was always put down and evantiually that led to my breaking point i fell into a deep deprission and am still not out of it. We are terribly disappointed in this school. Having come from another district, this school is so far behind. My son is doing math that he learned two years ago. There is no concern on the part of his teacher that they are behind. All of my concerns have been met with apathy. The communication level...

As a graduate from JCS I have also had success in college and in my career. academics are certainly adequate. The small school has it's advantages, however there are drawbacks as well. Children of teachers are favored over others, and some students are labeled and are unable to escape that label for...

As a prior student at JCS, I have to admit this school sets the students up for success! Most students have the opportunity to play 3-4 sports, participate in chorus, band and jazz band, develop leadership skills as a class officer or student body officer and much more.
