My experience at Jena High School has been average. I never feel unsafe on campus so that's always a good thing, but the way money is handled is insane to me. For example, a new parking lot was built while there are stalls in our bathrooms that don't even lock and Chromebooks that are falling apart. I feel like the school board's focus needs to be on more important things other than dress code and phones. Overall, my high school experiences has been fine.

Jena High School has been an amazing place to go to school. My teachers are always ready to help me anytime I ask. I have been provided with numerous opportunities to join clubs, participate in sports, and take dual enrollment courses. I have been challenged while still feeling successful.

Pros 1. We don't have uniforms. 2. The teachers who have been there a long time are really good. 3. There are many vocational/college readiness classes so students are prepared for the workforce or university. Cons 1. Some locks on the bathroom stalls don't work, and they rarely have sufficient paper towels and toilet paper. 2. Our teachers keep switching grades/schools. 3. Many clubs meet on the same day at the same time, so you have to choose which meeting to go to.
