The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

My experience at Junction High School was very good since it's such a small town it's easy to be involved in a lot of clubs and extracurriculars. However we didn't have much stability when it came to teachers or faculty since many of them seemed to quit or be "let go" often.

Junction is what you would imagine the small town experience to be like. On Friday nights everyone is at the football game, and if it is a home game you can bet that the entire town will be there to cheer the team on. Over my years at JISD I must say my favorite memories were the ones that I have made at JHS. Everyone always says that they can't wait to go to college, and I too have said it. I just know that when the time does come I will not want to leave a place where I have made my life long friends, and a place that has shaped me into the person that I am today. I would not trade any of my moments good or bad to of gone to school anywhere else.
