My overall experience at NJHS was outstanding. I was part of both sports and the band, plus an honor student and could not have asked for a better experience my 4 years there. Only thing that needs improved is the cafeteria food. Serving sizes are not enough especially for athletes and the quality has decreased in recent years.

NJHS is so unsafe, people fight at least twice a month, we get threats a lot, and academics aren't worth it. People cheat all the time and hard workers don't get what they deserve.

My overall experience at North Johnston was a blessing. I developed bonds with my teachers and excelled in my classes. North Johnston opened up many endorsements for me. I was able to march in parades. The track and field team consumed of many high spirted people who loved their sport. The track team felt like a second family. North Johnston High School became my safe space over the years.

Teachers and staff really care about each student! The staff is very friendly and always go "over and beyond" to ensure my child is taken care of. Other parents I have spoken to seem to agree!

Now that the principle is gone, maybe this school can get the leadership it needs. Now if we can just get rid of the superintendent (year 2009-2010)
