I had good opportunities as a junior and senior pursuing studying education in college. Not many opportunities for freshman and sophomores though.

I experienced quite a bit of homophobia from fellow students. Some teachers were very under qualified and I probably could have taught the classes better than them, some teachers were amazing. I would say the ratio of knowledgeable to unknowledgeable teachers is 1:1.

KHS has great athletics and an incredible art program which was the only reason I didn't transfer schools. There was virtually no diversity, and as a student it was nearly impossible to voice concerns or ideas that differed from administration. KHS would benefit from helping their talented individuals by offering more opportunities rather than holding them back.

The School did have a past of violence and under teaching from the teachers but that past has greatly improved the Educational curriculum is much better and the school has a 24/7 police man in the building reassuring the students safety
