I been to KIPP University Prep High School since my freshmen year. Every year there is a lot of new changes that are made. For example one of the changes we had this year was the uniform it got more stricter we are only allow to wear black pants not jeans last year and the year before the uniform wasn't stricter as this year. Some students like this idea of black pants only but some don't really like it. I myself am not a very big fan of the uniform policy at out school and I hope if we do have uniform its not that strict as wear only black pants. One thing that I do like and don't mind is that we get a lot of spirit weeks though out the school year which means students can dress up for the spirit week or wear whatever they want.

As a former teacher, there is no structure or consistency. Behavior is out of control and it seems that the police were there everyday. Fights often broke out every other day, teachers are not supported, there is no social worker or school counselor, and the amount of work teachers had to do for lit...

Solid - parents should come and speak to administration and take a tour of the school. They are an IB World School, and they can explain what this means and why it is so impressive. A tour of the school will show why it is an excellent choice far better than my review can.
