A great school that is trying its best to improve. KU gives a great education for the average kid, if you are more or less academically gifted opportunities lessen. However, high school is what you make of it and anyone can great a great education and experience here.

I've liked my experience at KU so far being a junior! It has many resources and helpful opportunities for a great future.

I generally feel accepted for who I am in terms of being an LGBTQ+ student vs the school district I previously went to. There are resources such as tutoring when I don't understand stuff. I can talk to any of my teachers when it comes to questions. There are a few teachers, however, that aren't good teachers. I'm sure they're nice people who have a lot on their plate, but my math teacher for example can be vexing. I go to tutoring every day when I have homework for her class because I don't understand what's going on. I'm a straight-A student with her class being my lowest of 92% vs the 95% I have in all of my other classes. If I ask her for help, I'm more confused, so I just go to tutoring which DOES help me and is a good working environment for me because I can't focus very well at home. So yeah, I really like my school, but no school or teacher is perfect.
