The small town feel great. Majority of the teacher were wonderful and cared about the students. The education system could use some improvement.

I like the classes and some of the teachers at Garrard county High School but overall it really does not help with success in the future. Lots of teachers will pressure you to stay in state and our test scores are awful. Many teachers will just chose to give up on you if you don't understand. The sports are alright and entertaining but the coaches can be rude to the point of being downright hateful which isn't a very good environment. So overall Garrard is average, I don't regret my time here but am glad I am graduating soon.

Garrard county schools is a very small school. They give a very small town welcoming feel and everyone is very familiar with one another. We have a very good technical shop and vocational classes. They have made me very prepared in career readiness and well as college preparation. They are always willing to help a student and strive for success. They just are small and slow to expand but are actively working on growth.
