Lander is overall a great school for academics. They have more APs than most Wyoming schools and Lander's teachers are mostly very invested in their students and great at teaching. Lander also has a block schedule which allows for more learning every day and I feel like I can get a lot done in my classes. However, administration is pretty awful, the school board constantly is making bad choices with academic funding, and the schedule making and communication is just awful

I am a student that is heavily involved in FFA and in ag. I would like to see the school celebrate the victories of ag students in a more meaningful way. Overall, I have had a great experience at this high school.

I would say there are ups ad downs to this school. while the academics are good and the teachers really seem to care about the students I have had to face adversity on behalf of my Christian faith and was not protected by the admin
