As a former teacher and administrator, 24 years in Inner-City and rural areas, this school is an absolute joke! Administration, 80% Black, have no clue, but degreed! Teachers aren't certified, and it's basically, "Worksheet 101!"

Overall, the ups and downs of Langtree has been OK for me. It was a little difficult my 10th and 11th grade year not having a math teacher at all to help so I feel as if I'm a little behind in math, but I have overall had teachers that I feel have cared for me and my best interest so they have been the ones that I've leaned to for support with the math. Overall, I feel as if the high school has got me where I need to be because I am genuinely a good student and do my work and I know what is expected out of me.

We lacked a lot of resources but we made do with what we had. My biggest problem though is the size. Socially it was hard to truely connect with a lot of the people there however I did have some really great teachers with a limited stress environment.

We’ve been at Langtree for three years, and we’re very happy! The school is safe and secure, the staff is fabulous, and the social activities are great! My only reason for 4 stars is that I wish the curriculum was a little more difficult. Overall, I’m a very happy parent!
