Had many great teachers and made many great friends in this school. Most of my teachers were able to teach the curriculum in a entertaining way. There were only a few teachers that left a bad impression, however they were a minority. I only felt that they're shouldve been more extracurricular activities, but I've heard they have recently added more.

It is an average school. There is a lot of different kinds of students coming from different parts of Laredo and even Mexico.

Loved this school! It has the most down to earth people and coaches. I learned alot about school, life, and sports being here. Environment is always having you on your toes.

The Student Discipline in this School is a problem where Stuent and Parent Self Discipline, Admininstrators not following through on Rules and District Policy is the cause of this School's less than Mediodre Status, Sad to see, as a former Student and district Instructor.

This school is not what it once was. Sure it was never great but it is in a total slump. The teachers cannot be blamed completely when you have students (and parents alike) that don't care. It sad really to see this historic school turn into a total quagmire.

Martin High School is a great institution and possibly the best school in Laredo, Texas. Sure the TAKS scores are low, but consider this: a majority of freshmen have poor English and reading skills. The faculty and administration have work twice as hard as other schools to get these kids to understa...

As a former staff member, I can attest that this school is home to troubled kids. One need not look farther than the school's standardized testing record to see many students don't go on to complete a higher education. With that said, great students will succeed no matter the environment. Martin has...
