In my 4 years of being in Ledford there was definitely a lot of ups and downs. The hallway ceilings are always leaking water and mold, the food is not even that good, the vending machines never work half the time, there has been some staff who had inappropriate relationships with minors, fights break out and as more time goes on the only thing that was good about this school was some staff and some of the good teachers and classes.

First of all, Ledford is a great school. People are supportive of the athletics and the music programs, and we have fun together. The teachers are mostly good. There are a few that are infamous for what they do, but even the teachers who aren't everybody's favorites are still good. Food sucks, but that's just school food. What did you expect? The school is a little old. I walked in the other day and there were ceiling tiles missing, but that's fine. If you care a whole bunch about facilities just go to Oak Grove.

Ledford High is full of many resources and opportunities to be greater after highschool. It is a love, hate relationship because some of the students make it uncomfortable from their racist remarks. There have been many times where i've encountered acts of racism and very little has been done to prevent it. Other than that I personally enjoy ledford and i'm glad to be apart of its community.

Good kids, great teachers, challenging classes. My kids participated in sports and other extra curriculars. I'm honestly not sure what the low rating is about? It must be our rivals trying to bring us down! LOL Overall, this is a great school, with great opportunities, a focused plan for preparing s...
