My overall experience attending Leesville High School has been pretty good . There have been some safety concerns but Vernon Parish as well as Leesville High School have made the effort and taken the safety measures to make the school a safer environment. The pep rallies are always so fun , the football games , volleyball games , basketball games , track meets , and softball games are always so entertaining and always so much fun.

Being a student at Leesville High school was definitely an experience everyone should have. I learned a lot from those who taught me whether it was for sports for my education. My best experience was basketball, I got to become part of a family created by my school's girls basketball program, and I love how I got to learn n grow with the girls on my team. My worst experience is going to have to be the lesson I learned about how not everyone is friend material. I believe I am a very genuine and positive person, and had faith that everyone is or can become the same and it was disheartening when I had to learn the hard way that's not the case.

My favorite part of leesville is the amount of activities there are to use to connect with others in the community. On the other hand, the food here is horrendous. Of course all public schools are that way now because of a certain someone, but it's especially troubling here in leesville because of the amount of homeless or less fortunate kids we have here in leesville. A lot of students here only get the option to eat day by day through the school and that's all they have.

While I can't compare my LHS experience to any other high school (it's the only one I attended), I feel like I got a decent education. LHS offered a great variety of classes compared to the other high schools in the parish. The student body was also the most diverse of all the schools in the parish....
