Whitnel has welcomed students (new or previous) with open arms. My child switched schools, it didn't work out and so we switched back to Whitnel, and Prinicipal Smith was absolutely wonderful. He was accommodating, patient, understanding, kind and helpful. He even matched my child up with the perfec...

I would like to say that Whitnel Is an GREAT SCHOOL! I attended school there when I was younger and the school was a year a round school. The teachers,staff,faculty,principle EVERYONE IS GREAT! I "was" a parent of children at Whitnel Elementary. I would not recommend that ANY child attend this school until their leadership is changed. The principal most certainly favors certain children and/or parents over others. Also nepotism is rampant here. When one of the Special Ed children was pinch...
