The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I have attended Grady ISD since I was in 5th grade. The teachers are great and the teacher to student ratio is very strong. A majority of the teacher are provided housing on campus and have a strong commitment to the students in and out of the classrooms.

Ive been going to grady since I was in the fifth grade. The school back when I first came to Grady was fun and exciting and I wanted to come to school. Now they have hired new staff and coaches and teachers and grady isnt the same as it use to be. If the were something i wish were different about grady, it would be how parents need to stay out of student drama, the school needs to quit worry about what happens outside of school, they need to get coaches that actually care about the players, and lastly I wish this school would be more about other sports then just basketball and hire an actual football coach.
