Leonardtown offers great amounts of AP classes at a solid quality of educators. the actual extracurricular level is one of the best in the county for arts and music, as well as a bigggg variety of clubs.

As a new student to leonardtown high school, my transition was a bit bumpy. I was helped with a tour around the school by another student, but that was the extent. After that, I was left alone to figure out everything by myself.

In general the school has a great education system. However, they have a huge racial problem in which they need to address . As well as there is little to no representation of people of color working at the school other than the custodians.

Both of my kids attended and had very positive experiences. They were involved in multiple clubs, the marching band, and the Tech Center. Five stars from me!

My daughter has enjoyed her time at LHS. The teachers are wonderful and engaging. The academics are at a high standard and there are many honors and AP classes to choose from. Also it is located next to the Tech center, making it easy to share time with that school. Her hands on application at LHS a...

Like any school, there are a few bad teachers and unfortunately many of them are in the math department. It is the #1 public high school to attend in our area. The best public High School in St Mary's. There's a reason folks go out of the way to buy in the Leonardtown district. The sports program is Great! Minimal problems, grounded policies, respectful student body.
