I've been attending West since 2010. It has a great way of involving students in groups and activities. There is not a whole lot of diversity in the school sadly but West strives in equality for all students.

The teachers genuinely care about the success and well being of there students. They each go go out of there way in there own unique way to ensure the success of each student.

West for me is a place where the people around me acted out for reasons of trying to be cool. The problem is that they weren't being cool; they were just dumb. The academics is below par, the food is awful, the teachers are diverse in their effectiveness, and the diversity of students is lacking.
