GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My favorite part about being at Lexington is the sense of community I get. It does not matter if it is a football game or a community church event the whole town shows up. My least favorite part is when a rumor is told it spreads like a wild fire.

I am currently a senior at Lexington High School. Lexington is a tiny town with less than 1,000 students. I love attending Lexington because, in a way, we are family. Many of the staff has watched me grow up, and I have grown to love all of them. The education at Lexington is also something I appreciate. We may not offer many AP classes, but I have accumulated many college credits in the walls of this small school.

I have been blessed to have had the opportunity to bring my kids here. It's not perfect, but my kids WANT...
