As a graduate of Southwest High School, I felt that the school did an excellent job of preparing me for college through its higher-level courses. The block schedule also helped me feel prepared for college life, and my interactions with the teachers were always positive. I also appreciated that there are many opportunities for students with disabilities to connect with other students and feel involved.

the students there only care about themselves and the administration is worried about the wrong things at the wrong times.

My kids have had a great experience at Southwest. The block schedule moves through the material more quickly, but students then have only 4 classes at a time to keep track of. Southwest is a very well built school. All of the staff really cares about every single student that attends Southwest each and everyday. Southwest has a big virility of sports, clubs, and activities to get involved in. Along with only having four classes a day is amazing.GO SOUTHWEST SILVER HAWKS!!
