So much needs to change at this school. I don't feel like I can give an unbiased review right now, but as a student who isn't involved in sports, nobody even cares if you live or die. The arts are incredibly underfunded and neglected. Doc Bocc is doing an amazing job as the new principal, though.

I feel that as a student at this school, I have always had good things to say. Options of clubs, activities, classes, and sports are endless. Every year, there are always new classes being presented to ensure that a student feels happy and included.

I had an enjoyable time at Lindenhurst Senior High School. A wide variety of classes were offered which allows students to choose which path they wanted to take. Additionally, many different clubs and extracurriculars were available to the students.

As a professor at SUNY Farmingdale and a Lindenhurst community member, I am ashamed of LHS. Lindenhurst has some of the highest school taxes in Suffolk County. Yet, many Lindenhurst natives in my classes, even high-achievers, have a very tough time adjusting to college. Even the students I get from...

Lindenhurst High School has some wonderful teachers however the staff at the administrative level is severely lacking. They do not take student issues like bullying seriously and the lack of attention to a serious drug problem will only cause the district to decline further.
