Awful school. If there was another option I'd pick it. This school is so full of problems. The central office is terrible and there is no teaching contract. The vp just quit due to bad student behaviors. This is a violent school full of violent kids. Nothing is being done. The other kids are just told to be compassionate and hold circles while violence is happening. It's like the kids who want to learn don't matter and the violent offenders can do whatever they want. My kid heard a counselor encouraging a swearing kid to say the f word to get his anger out. This isn't okay. Kids are being terrorized and learning isn't happening. The teachers are good but they are overworked. The principal is caring. But her focus on compassion and peace doesn't stop the violence.

Do not send your children here, unless you're a townie. My daughter attended this school for 4 years (k-3rd). In 2nd grade a child stood up in class a claimed he'd brought a gun to school. Rather than suspending him, they simply asked him to apologize to the whole class and he was back just a few da...

The school is unable...

Very great community feel in the town as well. However, they could use more support from the superintendent/upper administration, which se...

My 6 year-old child had a traumatic experience in his life and thus, he is acting out. The principal and teacher are more concerned with expelling him than helping him. They told me to just homeschool him. Well, I'm a single father and I have a job. I cannot afford a home school teacher and I don't...
