It is an overall good school with great faculty and staff. The facilities are not too bad, but some of them could definitely use some upgrades.

Some of the best parts of Lorena is the fact that we have a block schedule. It gets us ready for college schedules and gives students a way to distribute the work load. I love the fact that I was new, and was welcomed easily and transitioned into leopard pride which is apparent here. Some of the worst parts about Lorena is the lack of diversity. There's not very many colored people and i've seen and heard some racial stereotypes here.

My experience at Lorena High School has been very good. I like how community oriented it is and that everyone supports programs going on in the community. One thing they could do better is being more inclusive with different activities but I think they are trying to increase inclusion in the school.

The Lorena school system continues to grow and is making great strides in technology advances. I am not a graduate from the state of Texas and I have three kids in the schools. Only one plays sports and all three are in band. Overall ALL students are given the chance to shine and are recognized for...

I am actually a student here and I think that this is a great school because we have some of the best teachers. But like other schools there is that one teacher you don't like. When I took the psat I was well prepared. The same for my eoc/finals. Overall it's a pretty great school.

This school is terrible with pure pressure of being "pretty", "rich", and "athletic" if you are none of those things you are barely recognized for anything. They play the favorite game in everything. (No exaggeration) The only thing that they do not do this in is FFA or Aggriculture class.

We moved to Lorena about 2 years ago and at first were impressed but learned of the political influence so heavily working against our children. My oldest child was cheated out of her well deserved class placement higher on the list. She would take a test and score above 90%. Students making a 80% w...
