My years at Lubbock High has been a roller coaster but nevertheless, I don't ever regret going here at all. The best parts of my experience is the amazing teachers and staff as well as our academic program. It can only get you so far having those things at a good level. So for Lubbock High to excel in these aspects makes it an amazing school to go too if you want the best chance of going to a top college. I wouldn't really say there were bad parts about my experience, mostly everyone at the school is friendly and the teachers have an amazing sense of humor and will let you learn a lot from them. Being one of the most highly academic rated schools, they also hold high achievements in their sports. Although we aren't really the best at all of our sports like other schools, we do have a few that stand out. Lastly, Lubbock High's energy is through the roof, when it comes to extracurriculars such as orchestra or band, as well as the cheer, the energy is always top notch.

The principals are ridiculous and rude. They don't seem care as much to help children succeed as they do to nit pick and tear down in vengeance. They attempt to threaten parents instead of trying to work with them to fix issues with their students. There are a few teachers and guidance counselors th...

I graduated in 2001. I loved the teachers (many were college professors before) and loved the diversity at the school. I had no problems while in college (obtained a doctorate degree). It has probably changed a bit but I still believe it's the best high school in the Lubbock area and one of the best...

It's a great school to sub at! I loved my experience as a student there- my teachers were top notch and actually care...
